CHOROSTASI MANSION

In mountainous Halkidiki, at the foot of Holomontas, the green mountain, the mountain that Aristotle chose to live for a few years of his life, lies the traditional and beautiful settlement of Arnea.
At this place we created the guesthouse “Chorostasi Mansion”, a meeting point of the visitor with what nature has to offer. Our main concern was the restoration of its stone mansion family from 1896, preserving its original traditional character. In this way we have created a hospitable hostel that is in harmony with the environment and the architectural character of the area.
The philosophy of the hostel is expressed in all our activities. We created its spaces exclusively with natural materials of the place, combining harmony with stone and wood. We are constantly looking for ways to become better by developing alternative forms of energy and ecological activities.
Hostel Chorostasi is a dream come true and for us, it is a dream come true. In this stone-built mansion of the Kokkaliaris family we invite our guests to experience an alternative way of life, an authentic experience of contact with this beautiful area of ??Halkidiki.
