At the foot of Olympus located 38 km from Katerini and altitude 820m. in the prefecture of Pieria is the mountainous village of Agios Dimitrios. Surrounded by the mountains of Olympus, the Titarou and Mountains of Pieria. There is also the Hotel Dimatis.
To Dimatis Hotel is a family business, the history of which lasts from 1928. At that time and until the mid 70’s the Dimatis an attraction for all residents of the region, as well as the only amusement park, patrons were those adapted the kind of delivery of services, according to their needs! Ie it was the cafe of the village, the village tavern, the cafeteria of the village in the evenings youth and summers working as a summer cinema! The 1988 built Hotel Dimatis while in 2011 it became the restoration of the “Aesthetic Group Intervention.”
Built with respect to the local architectural tradition, Hotel Dimatis, equipped with all modern amenities. Both on site and the restaurant, stone, wood and clay are the main building blocks giving a bright Mediterranean style.
Our hotel holds two stars and consists of 13 rooms each different architecture. The “Aesthetic Group Intervention” has shaped the space, for nice moments of relaxation and luxury accommodation in high-quality facilities.

Made with an original fireplace that works with firebricks round the clock keeps heat at a level which keeps patrons warm even when the temperature drops below zero. If you are lucky and spend here a snowy weekend you wish winter will never end, while the summer season will offer more substantial pleasures as Olympus combines mountain and sea.
