CHRISOSTOMOU Winery

The winery is located in the settlement of Pydna (Kitros) Pieria and next to the church of the prophet Elias. Its facilities were completed in 2009 with a processing capacity of 80 tons of grapes. It consists of a space equipped with modern media and stainless steel tanks for pre-fermentation cryopreservation, fermentation and stabilization tanks with a controlled cooling system for the best possible utilization of the aromas of the raw material. A bottling area made by semi-automatic bottling machines. The cellar in the basement of the building where in dozens of oak French barrels the red wines are matured as well as the fermentation of some white and rosé wines. Finally, the aging area where the bottles are placed on large wooden shelves and wait until the time comes for them to be consumed. Particular emphasis is given to the cleanliness of the winery and its strict orientation is the production of high quality wines.
